Gaming in the Metaverse

 The metaverse is taking over and being used replicating things in our everyday life. Gaming  being a big one that is used in VR(virtual reality) games. Companies are creating new VR headset gear making sports and gaming realistic. The metaverse has pros and cons as it continues developing. One pro discussed in my flipboard article is that it allows opportunities that normally may not happen. So the idea of racing a car, fighting , playing tennis , etc are things achievable for people who simply have the VR set. One article I read explained how they’ve been creating a 90,000 seat VR soccer stadium being the biggest venue in the metaverse. People are able to access this stadium creation thru a virtual reality headset. VR creators have even gone as far as having games that actually kill the player when they die in the game.  When an appropriate game-over screen is displayed, the charges fire, instantly destroying the brain of the user,” he said. Black Mirror & The Future

 China having a social credit system to track their citizens launching is wild to me. The thought of being tracked by the country through your phone is already too much. Top citizens getting VIP treatment could help people be better people or it could make things worse. Blocking individuals with  lower credit scores from equal opportunities isn’t fair to citizens overall because everyone deserves an equal opportunity. It even was said that it would block children from attending good schools. Being banned from a flight because of your score seems so insane to me.  The system requiring everyone to pay with their phones so their transactions can be tracked is something I couldn’t imagine happening here in the U.S. I like having a sense of some privacy even though I am aware that our phones are tracked to a degree as well.

Social Media Profile Bios

 While updating and changing my social media profile bios, I used the profile tips link to help me. My social media accounts I used are Twitter, Facebook & my LinkedIn bio. My LinkedIn bio is more professional while when doing my Twitter and Facebook bios, it was less lengthy and not as in depth of who I am. In both bios I get straight to the point of my name, location and what I do, while my LinkedIn is more detailed into who I am. PRINT AD ANALYSIS

  This ad is well balanced with words along the top and the bottom of the photo. The main focus and image is centered focusing on the Samsung device. With the black background the apples add a pop of color. Since the phone can flip, the ad creators used that phone feature to make the ad similar to like the pac man game. The apples being eaten I think represents their competition Apple. The black background centers the main focus on the phone and the apples.
